Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The room was larger than expected which was a pleasant surprise, but being in the attic meant it was a bit chilly and noisy from the main road. The staff were friendly and helpful, although the service was somewhat inconsistent. The location was convenient for our needs, with easy access to shops and restaurants. The dining was satisfactory but lacked some variety in the Scottish breakfast. Overall, a decent stay with a few drawbacks.
The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of the vibrant Glasgow West End and the beautiful Botanical Gardens. The rooms, while on the lower ground floor, were disappointingly fitted out cheaply with poor finishes. The dining experience was fine, with a cooked-to-order breakfast being a highlight. Overall, the communication before my stay was superb, but additional fees were applicable for various offenses.
The hotel offers clean and tidy rooms with easy access, suitable for a quiet and relaxing stay. The service was attentive and helpful, although some areas were noted to be in need of updating. The location is excellent for exploring the West End and is near various attractions.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic overall. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with the addition of charming traditional furniture and an exceptionally cozy bed. However, the bathroom seemed a bit tired and grubby. The service was exceptional, especially thanks to the dedicated help from Jade who went above and beyond. The location was perfect for exploring the West End and beyond, with easy access to local restaurants and nightlife. The dining experience offered a good variety, though a bit pricey at £12.50 per person. Overall, a great value for the money with a few minor room issues.
